About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Communications Specialist II to join our team at Refresco. As a key member of our Communications team, you will be responsible for creating and implementing multiple forms of internal and external communications, activities, and programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Communications team and internal partners to develop and execute a wide range of communications initiatives.
  • Research and create engaging content that showcases Refresco's brand, values, story, and culture.
  • Write and edit various internal publications, including newsletters, social media posts, and website content.
  • Manage relationships and projects with vendors as needed.
  • Work cross-functionally to develop best practices and promote communications consistency.
  • Coordinate social media calendars and content pipelines to support established social media strategies.
  • Create visuals, such as flyers, social media posts, and videos.
  • Support administrative tasks, including creating purchase orders and processing invoices.
  • Prepare and distribute newsletters across the business unit.
  • Update the North America website and Intranet/SharePoint as needed.
  • Provide support for communication projects and initiatives as needed.
  • Update presentations and resource guides.
  • Assist with the implementation of Group (global headquarters) initiatives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a Communications or Content Marketing role.
Preferred Skills and Competencies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Highly computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint.
  • Experience with web-based platforms, such as Canva, and website editing knowledge is preferred.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems.
  • Ability to maintain constructive working relationships with people at all levels of an organization.
  • Ability to balance multiple tasks with changing priorities.
  • Adaptable to change.
  • Strong team player and willing to help out when needed with the broader Communications team.
  • Ability to work in a busy and open office environment on a daily basis.
  • Knowledge of Spanish and French is desired but not required.
