Communications Specialist II

We are seeking a highly skilled Communications Specialist II to join our team at Refresco. As a key member of our Communications team, you will be responsible for creating and implementing multiple forms of internal and external communications, activities, and programs.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with the Communications team and internal partners to develop and execute a wide range of communications initiatives.
- Research and create engaging content that showcases Refresco's brand, values, story, and culture.
- Write and edit various internal publications, including newsletters, social media posts, and website content.
- Manage relationships and projects with vendors as needed.
- Work cross-functionally to develop best practices and promote communications consistency.
- Coordinate social media calendars and content pipelines to support established social media strategies.
- Create visuals, such as flyers, social media posts, and videos.
- Support administrative tasks, including creating purchase orders and processing invoices.
- Prepare and distribute newsletters across the business unit.
- Update the North America website and Intranet/SharePoint as needed.
- Provide support for communication projects and initiatives as needed.
- Update presentations and resource guides.
- Assist with the implementation of Group (global headquarters) initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in a Communications or Content Marketing role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Highly computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint.
- Experience with web-based platforms, such as Canva, and website editing knowledge is preferred.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to analyze and solve problems.
- Ability to maintain constructive working relationships with people at all levels of an organization.
- Ability to balance multiple tasks with changing priorities.
- Adaptable to change.
- Strong team player and willing to help out when needed with the broader Communications team.
- Ability to work in a busy and open office environment on a daily basis.
- Knowledge of Spanish and French is desired but not required.
