Position Summary

The Sales Support Specialist is tasked with managing, executing, and organizing all accounts within their designated route. This role emphasizes the importance of fostering relationships to enhance the visibility of all SDC brands and ensuring that Sales Representatives have the necessary tools to effectively grow their accounts. Key responsibilities include managing out-of-stock situations, handling expired products, and overseeing point-of-sale displays.

Note: Only candidates residing in or willing to relocate to the specified areas will be considered. Relocation assistance is not available.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect detailed information on shelf and display requirements in accounts.
  • Maintain well-organized displays by ensuring front-facing products are prominently displayed.
  • Verify that all products are represented on shelves according to schematics.
  • Rotate products as shelves are replenished to uphold inventory standards.
  • Repackage surplus inventory into smaller formats to facilitate sales.
  • Redistribute short-coded products to different accounts to maximize sales potential.
  • Efficiently organize and streamline backroom sections for delivery purposes.
  • Inspect accounts for expired products, marking them appropriately and exchanging as necessary.
  • Identify point-of-sale opportunities and ensure current displays are equipped with promotional materials.
  • Confirm that all items have accurate price tags.
  • Communicate effectively with store decision-makers and Sales Representatives.

Qualifications

  • Education and Experience: A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or two years of relevant experience; or a combination of education and experience.
  • Language Skills: Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, is required.
  • Travel Requirements: Regular travel to assigned accounts is necessary. A clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for the past five years and reliable transportation are essential.
  • Driver's License: A valid driver's license is required.
