Job Title: Intensive Care Unit ICU Staff Nurse RN Night Shift

Inova Health System is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for a CVICU position in Annandale, Virginia.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality patient care in the CVICU unit, utilizing evidence-based standards and guidelines.
  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams and physicians.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care transitions.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development of best practices and cost-effective care delivery.
  • Assume clinical management for the acute care patient population, working collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
Requirements:
  • Certification in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support.
  • Licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) with a compact license, and a license or eligibility for a nurse practitioner or physician assistant in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
  • One year of experience in a critical care setting, with a strong foundation in nursing practice and patient care.
