Job Title: Registered Nurse RN for Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit CVICU

Inova Health System is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse RN to join our Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit CVICU team at Inova Fairfax Medical Campus.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced ICU Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in our 24-bed CVICU unit. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in critical care and a passion for delivering exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in the CVICU
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
  • Monitor and manage patient vital signs, lab results, and medication administration
  • Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction
Requirements:
  • At least 1 year of RN clinical experience in a Critical Care setting (ICU)
  • 3-5 years of ICU RN experience preferred
  • Education: BSN from an accredited school of nursing
  • BLS for Healthcare Provider Certification required and ACLS strongly preferred
  • RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a RN
