Job Title: Registered Nurse - Acute Pulmonary Unit

Inova Health System is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team on the Acute Pulmonary Unit at Inova Fairfax Hospital's Heart and Vascular Institute.

About the Role:

We are looking for a part-time, day shift experienced nurse with a passion for patient care to provide high-quality care to our patients with complex pulmonary diagnoses and those requiring pulmonary interventions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized care to patients with acute respiratory failure, including those requiring endobronchial valves and inpatient hospice care.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Participate in unit-based education and training programs to stay up-to-date on the latest lung disease processes and treatments.
  • Work in a fast-paced, top-performing unit with a focus on teamwork, patient advocacy, and excellent patient care.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 1-year Registered Nurse clinical experience in the acute care setting.
  • BSN from an accredited school of nursing.
  • BLS for Healthcare Provider Certification required and ACLS strongly preferred.
