Inova Health System is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) team at Inova Fairfax Medical Campus.

About the Role:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate RN to provide high-quality patient care in our 24-bed CVICU. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of RN clinical experience in a Critical Care setting (ICU) and 3-5 years of ICU RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in the CVICU
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
  • Monitor and manage patient vital signs, medication, and treatment plans
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
  • Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives
Requirements:
  • BSN from an accredited school of nursing
  • At least 1 year of RN clinical experience in a Critical Care setting (ICU)
  • 3-5 years of ICU RN experience preferred
  • BLS for Healthcare Provider Certification required and ACLS strongly preferred
  • RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a RN
  • Proficient in English, strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal skill and the ability to display a caring demeanor towards others
  • Proficient computer skills required
