Job Title: Cardiac Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse

Inova Health System is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU) team. As a critical care nurse, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care to individuals with complex cardiac conditions.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate RN to work in our fast-paced CICU environment. Our team is committed to delivering high-quality patient care and providing a supportive learning environment for our nursing staff.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients with complex cardiac conditions
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
  • Monitor and manage patient vital signs, lab results, and medication administration
  • Participate in cardiac arrest management and stabilization
  • Assist with advanced cardiac therapies, including ECMO, Impella, and IABP
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Virginia
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (within 3 months)
  • Proficient in English, strong verbal and written communication skills
