We are in search of a highly qualified and seasoned Senior Quality Inspector to join our Manufacturing team. Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Quality Inspector, your main responsibilities will include:
1. Conducting regular quality evaluations on all incoming materials from suppliers and outgoing products for distribution.
2. Disqualifying all products and materials that do not meet quality standards.
3. Interpreting blueprints, plans, and specifications to grasp product and service requirements.
4. Measuring product dimensions, assessing functionality, and comparing the final product against specifications.
5. Suggesting enhancements to the production process to bolster quality control.
6. Documenting inspection results by completing comprehensive reports and performance records.
7. Educating the production team on quality control issues to elevate product excellence.
8. Overseeing the production process to guarantee that all products meet quality standards.
9. Regularly inspecting machinery and equipment to detect any defects or malfunctions.
10. Participating in routine safety audits as part of the overall quality assurance process.
Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you will need:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar capacity within the aerospace or manufacturing sector.
2. Proven track record as a quality inspector or in a related role.
3. Comprehensive knowledge of quality control standards and testing methodologies.
4. Familiarity with the tools, equipment, and procedures utilized in the inspection process.
5. In-depth understanding of the manufacturing process and product lifecycle.
6. Strong mathematical and data analysis skills.
7. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
8. Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software.
9. Exceptional technical and problem-solving capabilities.
10. Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and other technical documents.
11. Certification in quality control is a significant advantage (ISO 9000, etc.).
