Job Title: Branch Manager - Cast Crete Sarasota

Cast-Crete USA Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Branch Manager to lead our Sarasota branch. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the branch, including sales, customer service, warehouse management, inventory control, logistics, rebar operations, fleet maintenance, safety, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct and manage the branch team to ensure timely and accurate management of all warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, order pulling, delivery, and customer service.
  • Ensure inventory management activities are performed in accordance with company procedures and policies.
  • Oversee day-to-day rebar manufacturing operations, implementing and sustaining continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality.
  • Identify training needs and opportunities, develop and implement a plan to meet those needs.
  • Regularly review inventory to ensure accuracy and availability of products.
  • Collaborate with corporate sales, purchasing, dispatch, and logistics teams to manage inventory and customer delivery needs.
  • Maintain and develop positive relationships with existing and prospective customers, demonstrating excellent customer service and setting an example for other staff.
  • Responsibility for hiring and training all branch team members.
  • Oversight of all safety protocols, ensuring compliance with corporate directives and adherence to all corporate training programs.
  • Maintain equipment and trucks in compliance with safety rules and DOT regulations.
  • Ensure all logistics-related operations comply with applicable environmental, health, safety, and other regulatory rules and regulations.
  • Maintain communication with the District Manager and corporate office to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as state and federal laws and regulations.
  • Operate a forklift as needed to handle company materials.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma
  • An undergraduate degree in business, supply chain, operations management, logistics, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Minimum three years of experience managing a branch or distribution facility, preferably in building materials, industrial supplier, construction, or a related industry.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Excellent leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, time management skills, and ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a timely manner.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in building materials, construction, or a related industry is helpful.
  • The physical demands of this role require bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors when required by the job.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Experienced with forklift operation.
  • Understanding of CDL regulations and requirements.
  • Understanding of Vehicle/Fleet Maintenance.
