Position Summary:
We are seeking a qualified candidate to join our expanding team in the Sarasota, Florida area. The Branch Manager will report directly to a Principal staff member within our Building Envelope / Existing Building division and will be responsible for a diverse range of functions, including but not limited to:

    • Property Transition Surveys
    • Concrete Rehabilitation
    • Coating and Waterproofing

    • Expert Testimony Services

  • Proven track record of managing projects and meeting deliverables.
  • Conducting project reviews and collaborating with Project Managers on assigned tasks.
  • Reviewing written reports and documentation related to project activities.
  • Maintaining current knowledge of local building codes.
  • Evaluating technical requirements for projects and requesting necessary support.
  • Effectively communicating and building relationships with clients and management teams.
  • Breaking down technical deliverables and assisting in budget management for assigned projects.
  • Providing updates to the Principal regarding project status, timelines, and concerns.
  • Assisting with billing reviews and collections as needed.
  • Providing updates on manpower and resource availability.
  • Participating in corporate initiatives and meetings to establish future protocols and procedures.
  • Assisting the Principal with new proposal estimates and business development efforts.
  • Responding to client communications during project emergencies.
  • Managing staff and fostering a mentoring environment.
  • Assisting the Principal with Profit & Loss reviews.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in building envelope and existing building projects.
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • Professional Engineer licensure is required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in PC skills and experience with Microsoft Word or similar documentation software.
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic team environment, think creatively, and solve complex challenges.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to see the broader perspective.
