The successful candidate will be a seasoned professional with a strong track record of building relationships and creating lifelong connections between the business program and its alumni.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute a comprehensive alumni engagement strategy that fosters strong relationships between the business program and its undergraduate alumni.
- Collaborate with the business program team to identify opportunities for alumni engagement and develop targeted programs to meet their needs.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including alumni, faculty, and staff, to ensure a strong network of support for the business program.
- Develop and implement effective communication strategies to keep alumni informed about program news, events, and opportunities.
- Work closely with the development team to identify and pursue fundraising opportunities that support the business program.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of experience, education, and training.
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse audience.
- Familiarity with donor/alumni databases and a thorough understanding of setting up processes and systems.
- Experience with event planning and successful management of events, programs, and resources.
- Strong organizational and attention to detail skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple assignments with competing deadlines.
- Strong planning and project management skills, with the ability to identify short- and long-range goals and contribute to effective and measurable execution of outcomes.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data and produce reports to create and track metrics to evaluate program effectiveness.
- Strong computer proficiency in a variety of software applications, including MS Office Suite.
- Knowledge of academic fundraising and alumni relations.
- Experience using software such as CVENT and/or BlackBaud CRM.
