Electrical Engineer Job Description

LDC, Inc. is a premier engineering consulting resource to the Pacific Northwest and beyond. We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team in Woodinville, Washington.

Job Summary

The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for the electrical design of electric vehicle and telecom projects. This position will work with LDC staff and clients to ensure the electrical design aspect of projects follows code and life safety for the purpose of obtaining permits and through bidding of contractors and into construction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as primary contact for clients and coordinate with local utilities and/or OEM providers as necessary.
  • Respond to AHJ's on any comments stemming from permit application to successfully answer and ultimately get permit approvals.
  • Manage and execute electrical design using company systems and tools.
  • Interface with key clients to ensure services are meeting their needs and expectations.
  • Perform a wide range of engineering tasks by operating computer-assisted design or engineering software and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with specifications, codes, or customer requirements by directing or coordinating installation, manufacturing, construction, maintenance, documentation, support, or testing activities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
  • PE License required and ability to seek and obtain licensure in any state needed.
  • Proven track record of design, development, and launch of innovative and robust electrical components and systems.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical engineering field.
