Job Title: Director of Sales

Pontera is a fintech company on a mission to help people retire better. Our software platform enables retirement savers to get the help they need managing their 401(k) and other retirement plan accounts as part of a personalized strategy by their trusted financial advisor.

We are seeking a seasoned sales leader to join our team as Director of Sales. As a key member of our go-to-market leadership team, you will be responsible for managing a team of managers responsible for quota carrying functions including Mid-Market and SMB Account Executives and Business Development Reps.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage a team of sales managers and individual contributors to achieve sales targets and drive business growth.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to penetrate new markets and expand existing ones.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive sales process improvements and optimize sales operations.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities and partnerships to drive revenue growth.
  • Provide coaching and development opportunities to sales team members to enhance their skills and performance.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of sales leadership experience, preferably in the fintech or financial services industry.
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth and achieving revenue targets.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing sales teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute sales strategies that drive business growth.
