Director of Sales Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Director of Sales to lead our sales efforts at Home2 Suites by Hilton in downtown Philadelphia. This hotel is strategically located near key attractions such as the Philadelphia Convention Center and Reading Terminal Market.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales management within the hospitality industry and a passion for driving sales growth while delivering exceptional guest experiences. Experience with Hilton brands is preferred, and the ability to initiate sales initiatives independently is crucial for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to enhance revenue and occupancy for our prime location.
  • Interact professionally with customers, partners, and associates to build strong relationships.
  • Stay informed about market trends and events to optimize sales strategies.
  • Represent the hotel in the community and maintain key sales relationships.
  • Manage group inquiries and maintain client information efficiently.
  • Control sales and marketing expenditures to maximize ROI.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Director of Sales in the hotel industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and industry tools.
