Affordable Community Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Affordable Community Director to join our team at FPI Management, Inc. This is a key leadership role that requires a strong understanding of affordable housing programs, including LIHTC, HUD programs, and USDA-Rural Development.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee and enhance the value of a typically small asset/property, managing a staff of up to 5 Full-Time Employees (FTEs).
- Supervise all on-site staff, including Assistant Community Director, Resident Services Coordinator(s), Compliance Specialist(s), Leasing Manager, Leasing Consultant(s), Maintenance Supervisor(s), Maintenance Technician(s), Make-Ready or Rehab Technician(s), Groundskeeper(s), Painter(s), and Housekeeper(s).
- Manage the maximum revenue potential of the property through the management of lease expirations and timely turnover.
- Accurately process vendor invoices and manage accounting month end.
- Comply with periodic financial reporting requirements, including petty cash, mileage reimbursement, and variance reporting.
- Minimum 2 years' experience with affordable housing programs, including LIHTC, HUD programs, and USDA-Rural Development.
- Affordable Housing Accreditation (e.g., HCCP, HCP-E, COS, BOS, TCS, CPO) or other applicable designations in affordable programs.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar leadership role, preferably within Residential Property Management.
- High School diploma or equivalency certificate required. College degree in a relatable field preferred, but not required.
- Strong computer skills, including MS Office, Google Apps, property management-related software, email, and internet.
