Job Title: Spanish Legal Analyst - Labor/Trade Specialist

Aalis Management Consulting is a leading provider of management consulting services to the federal government. We are seeking a highly skilled Spanish Legal Analyst to support our client, the Office of Labor Affairs in the Office of the United States Trade Representative (USTR).

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will provide support to the USTR in monitoring and implementing the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA). This will involve conducting research, analyzing data, and providing recommendations to support USMCA labor and trade enforcement efforts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct research and analysis on labor and trade issues related to the USMCA
  • Provide recommendations to support USMCA labor and trade enforcement efforts
  • Conduct interviews with workers and other stakeholders in Spanish
  • Organize and share notes from interviews and research
  • Translate research results into English and Spanish
  • Assist in the creation and updating of tracking logs
  • Review, summarize, and prepare documents
Requirements:
  • Fluency in both English and Spanish
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business, economics, industrial/labor relations, sociology, history, or Latin American studies
  • At least three years of work experience in a business, legal, labor, policy, or relevant environment
  • Experience with labor issues and legal research/analysis a plus
