About the Role

We are seeking an experienced leader in Construction Engineering and Inspections (CEI) to elevate our regional CEI practice across Indiana, Ohio, and Kentucky.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and Inspire Teams: Oversee a talented group of project managers and inspectors, building strong partnerships with state departments of transportation and other consulting firms.
  • Contract Management and Project Oversight: Take charge of existing contracts and lead the execution of transportation projects, ensuring all deliverables meet our high standards.
  • Team Building and Development: Foster a culture of teamwork and inclusivity, challenge your staff to push their limits, and support their professional growth.
  • Strategic Growth Implementation: Develop and execute well-rounded growth strategies that align with market trends, ensuring quality service delivery while identifying new business opportunities.
  • Market Adaptability: Stay ahead of market dynamics, adapting strategies to maintain a competitive edge and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Project and Leadership Collaboration: Champion strategic projects and work closely with regional and service line leadership to drive the success of our CEI practice.
  • Driving Performance: Focus on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as revenue growth, employee retention, audit scores, and client satisfaction to achieve outstanding results.
About You

We are looking for a candidate with a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a closely related field, and 15+ years of project and program management-related experience in CEI with KYTC, INDOT, ODOT, or another state DOT.

The ideal candidate will have strong marketing and business development skills, a proven track record of success winning and delivering opportunities for multiple clients within the market segment, and Professional Engineer (PE) registration in a relevant state.
