Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hotel Operations Manager to join our team at Railey Vacations/Cove Creek Lodge. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, leading a team of staff, and ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies to drive guest satisfaction and financial success.
  • Collaborate with front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance departments to achieve hotel goals.
  • Focus on quality and cleanliness, inspecting rooms and public areas to ensure high standards.
  • Conduct staff meetings to enhance performance and implement new methods.
  • Coordinate with management and human resources to interview, hire, and train staff.
  • Maintain knowledge of hotel operations, including room rates, policies, and guest demographics.
  • Represent Railey Vacations and Cove Creek Lodge with professionalism and provide exceptional customer service.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; degree in hospitality or related field preferred.
  • At least 3 years of experience in the hospitality field; previous experience as a hotel manager or assistant manager preferred.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven customer service experience as a manager; strong guest-focused mentality.

Physical Requirements

  • Express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken word via email and verbally.
  • Exert 50+ pounds of force occasionally, use your arms and legs.
  • Have close visual acuity to perform activities such as analyzing data, viewing a computer terminal, reading, and preparing documentation.
  • Subject to internal and external environmental conditions.
