Are you an experienced mechanic seeking a rewarding opportunity within a thriving organization? NESCO Inc is expanding, and we are looking for skilled technicians to join our dynamic team.
This role is part of our Flexible Assembly Operation, where we provide assembly services to leading companies in the automotive sector. Our projects include innovative products such as off-road tactical military vehicles, autonomous vehicles, and electric vehicles.
Engage in exciting, low-volume, and highly technical projects that will expose you to cutting-edge technology on a regular basis. We offer full-time, direct hire employment opportunities for the right candidates.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of recent experience as an Automotive Technician.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Basic understanding of automotive systems is essential.
- Must possess mechanical inclination and be able to safely operate manual tools and power equipment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills are necessary.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail are important.
- Ability to read, comprehend, and execute written procedures is required.
- Self-starter with a willingness to learn and grow.
- Effective oral and written communication skills are needed.
- Excellent attendance and willingness to work overtime or weekends when necessary.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with automotive electrical systems is a plus.
- While not required, candidates are encouraged to have a basic set of mechanic tools.
Education and Experience (Required):
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1 year of previous experience is required.
Education and Experience (Preferred):
- Certificate in Automotive Technology or a related field.
- National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification(s).
- State Mechanic Certification(s).
- Valid driver's license.
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities (Required):
- Mechanical ability and proficiency in operating shop equipment.
