Job Overview

Community College System of New Hampshire is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to serve as an ApprenticeshipNH Program Assistant. This role will provide administrative support to the Apprenticeship Program, including maintaining the filing system, assisting with event planning and coordinated outreach, and tracking and ordering program materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Apprenticeship Program, including maintaining the filing system and tracking program materials.
  • Assist with event planning and coordinated outreach, including scheduling meetings and coordinating participation in job fairs and information sessions.
  • Respond to telephone and email inquiries and refer individuals to the appropriate member of the ApprenticeshipNH team.
  • Provide interested business partners, potential applicants, and community-based organizations with information on the Registered Apprenticeship Program.
  • Use computers for various applications, including database management and Microsoft Office software.
Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required. Four years of experience in secretarial or office support position. Desired qualifications include experience in providing promotional and outreach support for career development and training programs, knowledge of apprenticeship programs, and experience in event planning.
