Job Title: Early Childhood Educator

Community Action Program of Belknap-Merrimack Counties is seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team. As an Early Childhood Educator, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality educational experiences for infants and toddlers enrolled in our Early Head Start Program.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Lead Teacher to plan and implement a quality educational program for infants and toddlers.
  • Assume responsibilities of primary caregiver for specific children and serve as the primary contact for families.
  • Develop and implement individualized lesson plans that meet the unique needs of each child.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and families to ensure a smooth transition between home and center.
  • Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalency credential.
  • Child Development Associate (CDA) credential for infant toddler caregivers or equivalent credential.
  • Successful completion of criminal record check.
  • A current physical examination report must be kept on file.
  • Valid driver's license with access to reliable transportation for required travel.
