We are seeking an experienced Flight Software Manager to lead our software development team and oversee the creation of critical flight software and systems.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Develop and implement flight software for inflight computers and other critical spacecraft hardware.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate software solutions with electrical and hardware systems.
  • Lead and manage a team of software engineers, providing technical guidance and mentorship.
  • Hire and develop new engineers to grow the team and drive innovation.
  • Configure and optimize RTOS, microprocessors, and Linux kernels/drivers for optimal performance.
  • Design and execute comprehensive software test cases to ensure quality and reliability.

**Requirements**

  • Proven experience in coding in C++ and Linux environments, with a strong understanding of software development principles.
  • Knowledge of hardware datasheets and schematics, with the ability to apply this knowledge to software development.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Git, Make, and GNU tools.
  • Related degree in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a similar discipline.
