Director of IT - Team Member Experience Expert

We are seeking a dynamic leader to join our team as a Director of IT - Team Member Experience Expert. This role will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance of our systems and services, improving employee experience, and managing IT equipment and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the maintenance of endpoint devices and systems, evaluating them according to established goals.
  • Improve employee experience by enhancing the new hire onboarding process, IT operations, and hardware refresh program.
  • Manage IT equipment, infrastructure, and network required for office facilities.
  • Help maintain ISO 27001 and SOC 1 and 2 certifications.
  • Drive IT application rationalization and build/support IT data warehouse.
  • Support multiple SaaS applications, including Jira, Confluence, Zendesk, Salesforce, and Workday.
  • Work with leaders and executives to devise and establish IT policies and systems to support strategic implementation.
  • Analyze business requirements to determine technology needs.
  • Purchase efficient and cost-effective technological equipment and software.
  • Ensure IT operations are well-resourced and staffed.
  • Secure data and IT systems against loss, attack, or risks.
  • Meet the company's IT requirements within budget.
  • Oversee technical projects to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Communicate effectively with external and internal vendors and advisors.
  • Make innovative and effective system and technology investment decisions.
  • Inspect the use of technological equipment and software to ensure functionality and efficiency.
  • Identify the need for upgrades, configurations, or new systems and report to upper management.
  • Assist in building relationships with vendors and creating cost-efficient contracts.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as an IT manager or director or similar role.
  • Experience in analysis, implementation, and evaluation of IT systems and their specifications.
  • Sound understanding of computer systems, networks, and software.
  • Outstanding communication abilities.
  • Experience with LLMs/Generative AI in Helpdesk automation is a plus.
  • BSc/BA in computer science, engineering, or relevant field.
  • ITIL, PMP, or any information security certifications are a big plus.
