Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Software Development Engineer to join our team in Tewksbury, Massachusetts. As a key member of our Air & Missile Defense Software Department, you will play a critical role in the development of real-time embedded software, application software, and tools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in the requirements, design, development, and testing of software solutions.
  • Design, code, test, integrate, and document software solutions.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other professionals within Engineering.
  • Follow established development practices and processes to maintain the configuration management of software products.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and 8 years of experience.
  • Experience in developing software using object-oriented C/C++, Java, or other object-oriented programming languages.
  • Experience in a Unix/Linux operating system.
  • Experience developing software in a team-based development environment, preferably Agile/SCRUM, DevOps, and test automation.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Active Secret security clearance.
  • Experience designing and developing real-time embedded software.
  • Experience with Network Communication Protocols, Shell Scripting, software development tools like Git/Clearcase, software debuggers, and using embedded RTOSs.

We offer a competitive salary range of $96,000 - $200,000, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays.
