Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all facets of mechanical projects, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Foster customer satisfaction to maintain a strong base of repeat clients and uphold the company's reputation.
  • Achieve financial objectives set at the project's inception, including forecasting, cash flow management, and contract oversight.
  • Administer project requirements by organizing and securing appropriate staffing from within the company.
  • Facilitate effective communication among team members and with clients to ensure smooth project execution.

Qualifications:

  • Fundamental understanding of mechanical construction, including estimating, scheduling, and cost management.
  • Proven experience managing commercial construction projects valued at $2 million or more.
  • Experience in semiconductor and/or pharmaceutical construction projects is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with process piping is a plus.
  • General knowledge of relevant code requirements.
  • Proficient in interpreting blueprints and legal documents.
  • Experience in budget preparation and risk assessment.
  • Strong team-building and negotiation skills.
  • Effective time management abilities.
  • Proficient in word processing and spreadsheet software.
  • Able to engage with diverse stakeholders effectively.
  • Preferred candidates will hold a degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or Business Administration, with 5 to 7 years of industry experience. Alternatively, a high school diploma with 5 years of relevant experience may be considered.

Working Environment:

The role may involve working in an office or job site trailer setting.

Physical Demands:

Position requires long periods of sitting and computer use, as well as occasional standing or walking during job site inspections.
