Job Summary

The Vice President of Operations Central Region is responsible for overseeing the operational management of Medical Group ambulatory practice sites in the Central Region. This individual ensures a high-quality and safe patient experience, adequate support for providers to deliver patient care, and productive and profitable operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with Central Region RWJBarnabas Health hospital leadership to ensure alignment with community and regional goals.
  • Collaborate with other regional medical group Vice Presidents to ensure consistent implementation of medical group goals and objectives across regions.
  • Develop positive working relationships with numerous MSO and corporate services to ensure appropriate KPIs and service outcomes are achieved.
  • Work closely with the Chief Medical Officer, regional and local physician leaders, and other clinicians to support appropriate communication, teamwork, and collaboration.
  • Assure the quality, safety, and appropriateness of patient care services are reviewed and evaluated on a regular basis and adequate actions required by findings are implemented.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
  • Master's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Seven to ten years progressive managerial experience in community and academic medical practice management or other applicable environment required.
  • Proven commitment to quality service delivery and achieving organizational mission required.
