Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Investment Office Manager to join our team at Jobot. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, accounting, and documentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage all aspects of the investment office, including AP, AR, accounting, and documentation.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to enhance profitability and maintain financial stability.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
  • Provide high-quality client service, addressing and resolving any financial concerns or issues.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to the executive team and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes and procedures.
  • Train and mentor staff members on financial operations and best practices.
  • Monitor and analyze the organization's financial performance and suggest improvements.
  • Ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported.
  • Implement strategies to mitigate financial risks.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A Master's degree or equivalent professional qualification will be an added advantage.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the finance industry.
  • Proven experience in managing AP, AR, accounting, and documentation.
  • Exceptional client service skills, with the ability to resolve issues efficiently and effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • In-depth understanding of financial regulations and accounting processes.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and make sound decisions.
  • Proficient in financial software - Allvue - and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
