Your Role:
As a Senior Portfolio Manager at Frost Investment Advisors, you will take charge of managing assets in accordance with proprietary strategies crafted by Frost Investment Advisors, LLC. This position emphasizes relationship-building, executed with integrity, compassion, and a commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and direct the implementation of Investment Adviser strategies for clients within a designated portfolio, ensuring alignment with client-specific goals.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the operations of the Investment Adviser by participating in relevant committees.
- Engage in the assessment and testing of Investment Adviser operations to ensure compliance with client obligations.
- Mentor and supervise junior staff to support their professional development (where applicable).
- Contribute to the asset review committee by evaluating assets for potential inclusion on the approved investment list.
- Consistently act with Integrity, Caring, and Excellence to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- 10+ years of experience in portfolio management, overseeing investment accounts in a fiduciary capacity within a financial services firm.
- Comprehensive understanding of financial markets and security types, with the ability to convey concepts effectively to clients.
- Experience in managing or advising on diversified asset class portfolios.
- Strong analytical capabilities.
- Proficient in multitasking and performing efficiently under pressure.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Broad knowledge of alternative asset classes.
- Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Professional designations such as Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or Certified Financial Planner (CFP).
- Familiarity with industry tools including Advent, Bloomberg, and FactSet.
