Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Enrollment Planning
    • Develop and execute a comprehensive enrollment strategy aligned with the school's mission, vision, and enrollment goals.
    • Review regional enrollment plans to evaluate application acquisition efforts and return on investment.
  • Recruitment and Outreach
    • Plan and coordinate recruitment events, including school fairs, open houses, information sessions, and community outreach initiatives.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with feeder schools, community organizations, and educational partners to expand recruitment networks.
  • Team Leadership
    • Build a strong and diverse team with an inclusive culture that brings out each team member's strengths and ignites actions.
    • Manage and develop others toward excellence in their role and with an eye toward their long-term development.
  • Data Management and Reporting
    • Establish metrics and key performance indicators to measure the effectiveness and impact of student acquisition and experience.
    • Utilize data analytics tools to track and measure the effectiveness of recruitment efforts.
    • Prepare regular reports on persistence, trends, and projections for senior leadership, school board members, and other stakeholders.
    Qualifications
    • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in enrollment management or admissions leadership, in an educational setting, preferably in public charter schools.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
    • Strong project and time management skills; ability to effectively backwards plan, juggle multiple priorities with great attention to detail, and deliver consistent and timely results.
    • Strong strategic and analytical skills with an aptitude for shifting from in-moment troubleshooting to systems-building.
    • Proven track record of implementing process improvements and driving operational excellence.
    Work Environment
    • Typical office environment with frequent interruptions.
    • Must be willing to work weeknights and weekends as needed.
    • This role can be based in the following locations with KIPP Texas Public Schools: Austin, Dallas-Fort Worth, Houston, San Antonio.
    Travel Requirements
    • Ability to travel to various locations, travel time approximately 15%.
