Key Responsibilities- Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain inventory levels to meet company objectives, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
- Cycle Counting: Conduct scheduled cycle counts of raw materials, components, and finished goods to identify discrepancies and optimize inventory levels.
- Inventory Organization: Assist in plant organization to determine and label locations for raw materials, components, and packaging, ensuring efficient storage and retrieval.
- Quality and Productivity: Assist in plant activities to achieve quality, productivity, and cost reduction goals, supporting the company's mission to deliver high-quality products.
- Physical Inventory: Support the annual physical inventory activity, ensuring accurate counts and minimizing discrepancies.
- Inventory Investigation: Investigate and adjust negative inventories daily, identifying and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Materials Management: Perform all duties as requested by the Materials Manager, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
- Compliance and Safety: Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including quality policy manual, associate handbook, and Level II procedures, as well as comply with internal and OSHA required safety procedures.
- Housekeeping: Maintain high standards of housekeeping in respective areas, ensuring a clean and organized work environment.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; six months to one year related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Communication Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
