Job Title: Community Manager

Job Summary:

The Community Manager is a key member of our team, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our apartment community. This role requires a strong leader who can motivate and guide our staff to provide exceptional service to our residents.

Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of leasing and maintenance staff.
  • Implement and enforce company policies and procedures to ensure a well-managed and well-maintained community.
  • Manage the leasing process, including showing apartments, processing applications, and executing leases.
  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of the property, ensuring that all issues are addressed in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new residents and retain existing ones.
  • Manage the community's budget, including forecasting, planning, and controlling expenses.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including fair housing and OSHA standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as accounting and human resources, to ensure seamless operations.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in property management, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of success in managing a team and achieving business objectives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, staff, and vendors.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions and drive results.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
