About the Role

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Director of Nursing Education to lead our nursing department at Concorde Career Colleges, Inc. This is a key leadership position that requires a strong background in nursing education, administration, and faculty development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of nursing faculty members, providing guidance and support in curriculum development, classroom management, and maintaining high standards of education.
  • Engage with students through interviews, orientations, and advisement, ensuring their successful progression towards graduation and licensure.
  • Oversee administrative duties, student records, and program compliance, while participating in policy development and review.
  • Maintain and enhance your own professional competence, setting an example for continuous growth within our educational community.
  • Foster relationships with fellow campuses, industry bodies, and the state Board of Nursing to ensure our programs are aligned with industry trends and best practices.
Requirements
  • Current, unencumbered, Registered Nursing license for the state of employment.
  • Bachelor's in nursing; Master's or Doctorate preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years clinical practical experience.
  • Actively employed in nursing in the past 5 years, preferably in administration or teaching.
  • Minimum of 1 year teaching experience in pre-licensure nursing education program.
  • Meet all qualifications established by the Board of Nursing in the state of employment.
  • Comply with regulatory and corporate qualifications.
