Position Overview:

We are in search of a highly motivated and customer-oriented Food Runner to join our team. The Food Runner plays a vital role in our operations, responsible for assisting the service team in providing memorable hospitality to our guests. In this role, you will ensure that food orders are delivered to guests promptly and accurately, maintain communication with the kitchen staff as needed, and help keep the restaurant clean and organized. You will also work to ensure that serving stations are well-stocked and assist in clearing and cleaning tables. A quick pace and an engaging demeanor are essential for success in this position.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Deliver food orders from the kitchen to customer tables swiftly and accurately.
  • Serve as the liaison between the Front of House and Back of House staff.
  • Communicate food orders to chefs, paying close attention to priorities and special requests (e.g., food allergies).
  • Ensure food is served in compliance with safety standards (e.g., maintaining proper temperature).
  • Check in with customers to take additional orders or refill beverages as necessary.
  • Clear away dirty dishes and utensils.
  • Respond to guest inquiries regarding ingredients and menu items.
  • Relay customer feedback or requests to restaurant staff (e.g., when guests request the check).
