Key Responsibilities:
The primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Accurately process payroll for employees in a timely manner, accounting for overtime, bonuses, commissions, and other relevant factors.
- Maintain and update employee payroll documentation, including tax withholdings, benefits, and deductions.
- Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local payroll regulations while staying updated on legislative changes that may affect payroll operations.
- Collaborate with the HR department to address employee payroll inquiries and promptly resolve any discrepancies or issues.
- Generate and distribute precise payroll reports to management, offering insights into payroll expenses and trends.
- Reconcile payroll accounts and address discrepancies to ensure accurate financial records.
- Prepare and submit payroll taxes, including quarterly and annual filings, in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Stay informed about industry best practices and technological advancements to enhance payroll processes and efficiency.
- Assist in payroll-related audits and provide necessary documentation.
- Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure seamless integration of payroll data across various systems.
Qualifications:
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in business or accounting is preferred.
- Experience in processing payroll within a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Workday and UKG Workforce Central or Pro WFM (Dimensions) is essential.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
