Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee projects within the solid waste management sector and spearhead proposal initiatives;
  • Contribute to enhancing Geosyntec's reputation in the waste management industry;
  • Ensure adherence to federal and state regulations regarding solid waste facility design;
  • Provide expert guidance on civil engineering, landfill, and transfer station design;
  • Develop comprehensive geotechnical site characterization strategies;
  • Prepare detailed engineering documentation, including reports, calculations, drawings, and permit submissions;
  • Lead field investigations related to design and construction services;
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities;
  • Fieldwork and travel may be a component of this role.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in civil or geotechnical engineering (mandatory);
  • Advanced degree in civil or geotechnical engineering (preferred);
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) registration in Texas (preferred).

Required Skills and Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the consulting field;
  • Proven track record in business development and project management;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Ability to excel in a dynamic consulting environment;
  • NCEES Record for PE comity (preferred);
  • Valid U.S. driver's license with a clean driving record for business travel.
