Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our team at Geotech Engineering and Testing. As a key member of our geotechnical team, you will be responsible for managing and training junior engineers, reviewing geotechnical and environmental reports, and communicating with clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and train a team of junior engineers and project managers.
  • Review and analyze geotechnical and environmental reports, including Phase I and Phase II studies.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, drillers, and laboratory staff to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Conduct site visits to assist with construction issues and ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of geotechnical and environmental reports.
  • Attend weekly marketing meetings to provide leadership and guidance on marketing and business development initiatives.
  • Meet with clients to discuss project progress and maintain strong relationships.
  • Develop and write proposals to secure new business opportunities.
  • Supervise laboratory operations and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Ph.D. or master's degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Geotechnical Engineering.
  • Must be a Licensed Professional Engineer (PE).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Minimal travel required.
