Job Title: Desktop Support Technician

At Virtual, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Desktop Support Technician to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support to our employees and ensuring the smooth operation of our computer systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Technical Support: Provide timely and effective technical support to employees via phone, email, and in-person. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues, and perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Cable Management: Implement and maintain proper cable management practices to ensure efficient and organized cabling systems.
  • Inventory Management: Utilize asset tagging and labeling to accurately inventory and track company assets.
  • Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service to employees and leadership, responding to inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate technical information to non-technical staff and end-users, and present ideas in a clear and concise manner.
  • Task Prioritization: Prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
Requirements:
  • Education: Associates or bachelor's degree with two years of experience, or two years of experience in a related field, preferred.
  • Experience: Two or more years' experience in healthcare, preferred. Demonstrated experience with Service Now, preferred. Experience in IT best practices, ITIL environment, or current ITIL certification(s), preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent attention to detail, strong written and oral communication skills, exceptional interpersonal skills, and ability to absorb and retain information quickly.
