Job Title: Desktop Support Technician

At Virtual, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Desktop Support Technician to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support to our employees and ensuring the smooth operation of our computer systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Technical Support: Provide timely and effective technical support to employees, resolving hardware and software issues, and ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Network and Infrastructure: Verify WAN, LAN, and Internet connectivity, and troubleshoot network issues to ensure seamless communication.
  • Cable Management: Implement proper cable management, labeling, and inventory using asset tagging and labeling.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, communicating effectively with employees and leadership, and demonstrating a strong understanding of our organization's goals and objectives.
Requirements:
  • Education and Experience: Associates or bachelor's degree with two years of experience, or two years of experience in a related field, preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Demonstrated experience with Service Now, preferred, and experience in IT best practices, ITIL environment, or current ITIL certification(s), preferred.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Experience collaborating with outsourced service desk and field services vendors, and working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Sales Force, Genesys, Teams, and eClinicalWorks.
