Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Claims Specialist to join our Doordash Bodily Injury team at Liberty Mutual. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for determining coverage, investigating complex and highly complex Commercial Casualty claims, and negotiating settlements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Determine coverage and investigate claims to ensure accurate and timely resolution
  • Analyze complex claims data to identify potential liability and develop effective resolution strategies
  • Negotiate settlements with claimants and other parties to achieve fair and reasonable outcomes
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Underwriting, Reinsurance, and Home Office Claims, to ensure seamless claim handling
  • Stay up-to-date with existing and proposed legislation, court decisions, and trends related to specialty coverage issues
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and 5-7 years of claims adjusting experience
  • Advanced knowledge of commercial casualty claims investigation, coverage evaluation, reserving, and expense management
  • Intermediate to advanced level of skill in customer focus, problem-solving, communications, and teamwork
  • Extensive Bodily Injury Litigation experience and complex claims handling required
