Position Title: Lead Quality Assurance Coordinator

Shift: 1st Shift

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Evaluation: Conduct thorough inspections of consumer and retail units to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Process Audits: Perform regular audits of production processes to identify areas for improvement.
  • Documentation: Prepare and manage essential documentation for completed units, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Quality Standards: Interpret and apply relevant quality standards to maintain product integrity.
  • Problem Solving: Utilize structured problem-solving techniques, such as the 5 Why methodology, to address quality issues.
  • Training: Mentor and train new inspectors on fundamental and intermediate tasks, fostering a culture of quality.
  • Non-Conformance Management: Assess and manage non-conforming materials using the Non-Conformance Report (NCR) process.
  • Data Management: Perform daily data entry into the Quality Control database to maintain accurate records.

Expectations:

As a Lead Quality Assurance Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and quality of our products. It is your responsibility to uphold safety standards within the team, addressing any issues promptly and escalating when necessary.

Expertise Required:

  • In-depth knowledge of Morgan Truck Body literature.
  • Proficiency in managing labor and scrap effectively.
  • Experience in implementing Lean Manufacturing principles and 5S methodologies.
