Ascension Recovery Services (Ascension RS) is a recognized leader in the behavioral health sector, specializing in the development and management of comprehensive systems that address Substance Use Disorders (SUD) and co-occurring mental health issues. Our expertise spans the entire spectrum of care, including detoxification, residential treatment, outpatient services, sober living environments, peer support, and workforce reintegration programs. Additionally, we operate an intensive outpatient program that includes Intensive Outpatient Programming (IOP), Partial Hospitalization Programming (PHP), and Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) services, alongside two residential treatment centers, with plans for a third center to launch in the near future.

Position Summary

The Contract Healthcare Recruiter is tasked with the critical role of identifying, attracting, and securing qualified candidates for various roles within the organization. This position entails managing all recruitment-related administrative tasks, collaborating with hiring managers, crafting effective recruitment strategies, and ensuring a seamless candidate experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and publish job openings.
  • Source candidates through diverse channels, including job boards, educational institutions, and professional associations.
  • Evaluate and interview candidates to determine their qualifications and suitability for the organization.
  • Organize and coordinate interviews with hiring managers.
  • Conduct reference checks, background screenings, and other pre-employment processes.
  • Maintain precise and current candidate records within the applicant tracking system (ATS) - BambooHR.
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant employment laws and regulations.
  • Foster a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment journey.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 2 years of recruiting experience, ideally within the healthcare sector. Experience in Behavioral Health is advantageous.
  • Strong comprehension of healthcare roles and their requirements.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capacity to work independently.
  • Proficiency in utilizing applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools; familiarity with BambooHR is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and time management capabilities.
  • High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
