We are seeking a dedicated Account Manager to join our Personal Lines division, where we specialize in safeguarding what matters most to our clients. This role is pivotal in delivering top-notch risk management solutions to our expanding clientele.

As an Account Manager, you will collaborate closely with our sales team to oversee the daily management of existing clients' insurance portfolios, ensuring they are well-prepared for unforeseen events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Support: Maintain precise client records to provide daily support and address intermediate-level inquiries while ensuring exceptional customer service. Foster strong business relationships with insurance carrier representatives and align with their goals to enhance partnerships.
  • Account Management: Organize files in accordance with company protocols. Adhere to procedures to achieve favorable audit outcomes. Ensure the accuracy of account details for new and renewal policies, process change requests, conduct coverage reviews, and manage agency bill transactions. Review accounts receivable and policy cancellation notifications in a timely manner, and monitor renewal premium increases for remarketing strategies.
  • Insurance Knowledge: Utilize your technical expertise to ensure timely receipt of carrier quotes; evaluate quotes for discrepancies and assist with carrier inquiries. Participate in training sessions and pursue self-directed learning to enhance your industry knowledge.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 2-5 years of relevant experience preferred.
  • Property and Casualty License required.
  • Familiarity with personal lines coverages in the insurance industry.
  • Proficient in client service through various communication channels.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with Agency Management software or a demonstrated ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office or similar software, including spreadsheets and presentation tools.
