Executive Business Development Manager

As a key member of our Media and Entertainment Business Unit, you will be responsible for expanding Virtusa's client base in a specific region by prospecting client relationships. Your primary responsibility will be to drive business development efforts, partnering with horizontal sales teams to create new segments within the vertical/account.

Your Role
You will play a key role in our growth and are tasked with rapid business expansion within your assigned accounts, including growing a select client cluster with clearly established top line and bottom-line targets. You must be able to sell new service offerings and solutions to the client cluster in order to achieve targeted results. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in a project environment and application development, as well as a deep understanding of M&E industry trends and value articulation principles.
Requirements
We are seeking an experienced Executive Business Development Manager who has a minimum of 10 years of experience in a client-facing role or account leadership role in the IT professional services or management consulting firm. You must have a proven track record in client business development, sales, and relationship management, as well as experience managing a large revenue client (P&L including reporting and metric assessment for the account).
Skills and Qualifications
The successful candidate will have excellent problem-solving, communication, and client management skills, as well as strong leadership skills and the ability to conceptualize, analyze, create blueprints for business transformations, and present solutions in the M&E domain. A salary of $120,000-$180,000 per year, depending on location and experience, is expected for this position.
