Key Responsibilities- Provide administrative support related to technology, including database management, website maintenance, intranet administration, network management, server administration, learning management system support, software maintenance, and data storage.
- Coordinate managed IT services, including cybersecurity.
- Troubleshoot problems with technology, including computers and software.
- Work on assigned projects and strategic initiatives related to TMCEC operations.
- Assist with publications, logistics, budgeting, and quality controls.
- Solicit proposals and bids for purchasing and procurement of computers, hardware, applications, and information technology services.
- Answer questions about TMCEC programs and operational policies.
- Send external communications to constituents.
- Prepare statistical reports, charts, and graphs.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Director.
- Proficiency in using and providing administrative support for learning management systems, software, including Microsoft 365, information technology, websites, and office equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to quickly learn new systems and provide instructional training to staff.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with limited supervision.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Customer service experience.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with and develop relationships with diverse individuals.
- Ability to use a computer in a networked system for email, correspondence, and reports.
- Willingness to perform a combination of both office and physical work.
- Ability to lift boxes weighing up to 20 pounds.
- Ability to travel (some occasional in-state travel may be required).
- A high school diploma or GED.
- Relevant post-secondary education or vocational work experience, including project management and information technology.
- Proficiency with iMIS, TopClass, Adobe, and Microsoft 365.
The Texas Municipal Courts Education Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation exclusively for charitable, literary, and educational purposes. We provide extensive, professional continuing education and training programs for municipal judges and court personnel. Our mission is to provide judicial education, technical assistance, and resource material to assist municipal judges, court support personnel, and city attorneys in obtaining and maintaining professional competence in the fair and impartial administration of criminal justice.
