Relief Customer Service Representative

The Relief Customer Service Representative plays a vital role in building strong relationships with customers and exceeding their expectations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, meeting sales growth goals, and promoting overall route growth to enhance profitability.
Responsibilities- Safely operate a company step van to provide products and services to clients.
- Verify daily preventative maintenance of the vehicle and maintain proper operator documentation.
- Manage daily routes independently to ensure accurate and timely delivery of products.
- Loads/unloads products per company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Review invoices daily for complete and accurate information and make corrections as needed.
- Meet sales goals and promote overall route growth to enhance profitability.
- Develop leads/prospects, call on prospective customers to solicit business, prepare service agreements, and install new accounts.
- Assist the sales organization with the procurement of additional new business.
- Possess a strong understanding of services, policies, and pricing methods and can clearly communicate these to customers.
- Monitor customer feedback and handle customer issues in a prompt and courteous manner.
- Take responsibility for your personal safety and watch out for the safety of others.
- Must be a minimum of 21 years of age, have a valid driver's license, and excellent driving record.
- Customer service experience with a wide variety of consistent customer contact.
- Strong math and basic computer skills.
- Demonstrated experience selling services/products and generating new business preferred.
- Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills required.
- Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and think quickly to identify/solve customer concerns.
Working conditions may include exposure to adverse and varying weather conditions, fast-paced environments, and irregular hours. Physical requirements include lifting and maneuvering products, bending, squatting, climbing, and reaching.
Education and CertificationsHigh school degree or equivalent and a valid driver's license are required.
