Position Overview:
The Procurement Specialist is responsible for overseeing the ordering and delivery of mass production components through strategic planning, effective communication, and supplier engagement. This role requires technical expertise and problem-solving abilities to ensure seamless operations and meet departmental objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of process-related systems for assigned suppliers and components, ensuring accurate material releases and inventory levels to support production operations.
  • Establish and nurture communication channels with suppliers to foster positive relationships focused on delivery performance.
  • Identify and escalate critical issues to management, ensuring timely resource allocation and developing countermeasures to mitigate risks.
  • Enhance internal and external communication networks to support operational success and raise departmental awareness.
  • Collaborate with project leaders to ensure all Mass Production department initiatives meet Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) by addressing potential downtime and production risks.
  • Manage design change activities for new models and mass production in collaboration with suppliers to minimize production impact and costs.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement countermeasures through Gemba activities, both internally and at supplier facilities.
  • Pursue continuous improvement through the Plan Do Check Action (PDCA) cycle in areas such as supplier ordering and problem management.
  • Develop the skills of oneself and colleagues through training and mentorship to ensure team growth and succession planning.
  • Support the company's vision and business initiatives by leading or participating in relevant projects.

Qualifications:

Required Experience:
0-4 years of experience based on educational background.

Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

  • Strong organizational abilities and task prioritization.
