Job Summary

Aramark is seeking a seasoned General Manager to lead our contracted services team and drive operational excellence. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for planning, managing, and guiding multiple contracted services to meet operating and financial goals, client objectives, and customer needs.

With a strong background in service industry, contract services, or hospitality, you will possess the skills to lead a team, build and maintain client relationships, and develop strategies to drive growth and improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of operations managers to provide operational expertise in contracted services.
  • Manage client and community relationships, assessing operations and developing plans to provide optimal service and drive employee and customer satisfaction.
  • Build, develop, and lead a management team and staff capable of carrying out organizational objectives.
  • Recommend methods, resources, and implementation for service improvement and growth based on understanding of operational needs, capabilities, and contractual obligations.
  • Partner with Finance to manage a budget and assist in the design of improvements to optimize financial performance and operational productivity.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and codes, and maintain all associated records and reports.
  • Maintain Aramark's standards of operation, including safety standards and Business Conduct Policy.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Food Service, Hospitality, Facilities, or Business Management.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with clients, senior management, and Aramark support staff.
  • Ability to focus on client and customer services, entrepreneurship, and building and growing a strong business.
  • Meaningful experience in service industry, contract services, or hospitality environment.
  • Proven ability leading through other managers.
  • Experience in creating and managing a department budget, financial controls, and analysis.
  • Experience crafting product sales strategies and implementing operational programs and initiatives.
