Territory Sales Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking a Territory Sales Manager to manage all sales and operational functions within the assigned geography. The successful candidate will be responsible for selling and servicing Swedish Match's products in retail stores, gaining new item distribution, promotion execution, and merchandising products, as well as ensuring freshness on all products in all assigned stores.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Sell and service Swedish Match's products in retail stores in assigned geography.
  • Gain new item distribution, promotion execution, and merchandising products.
  • Ensure freshness on all products in all assigned stores.
  • Utilize data to develop fact-based presentations for customers and follow the call process.
  • Handle all administrative aspects of the job, including expenses and point of sale materials.

Requirements:

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Problem-solving and ability to develop creative solutions.
  • Critical thinking, demonstrate the ability to think and act in selling situations.
  • Analytical skills, able to analyze data and develop a sales plan.
  • Planning skills, demonstrate the ability to prioritize activities to achieve results.
  • Microsoft Office and business math skills.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or directly related work experience is required.
  • Requires some directly related work experience in non-durable consumer goods sales.

Additional Information:

  • The candidate must live within the geographical assignment.
  • Territory Sales Managers must be able to lift, push, pull, reach, conduct overhead work, and carry bags and boxes as part of the sales activities.
  • Upon hire, if it is deemed that you are ineligible for a corporate credit card, you will be responsible to pay for travel costs incurred to meet the job obligations.
