Job Description:

This position will support the Radio Frequency In-Transit Visibility (RF-ITV) program as a Field Service Engineer (FSE) for various RF-ITV nodes within the Northwest US and Alaska.

As an RFID Field Service Engineer with Leidos, you will have the opportunity to use your Information Technology experience and troubleshooting skills in a dynamic and challenging environment.

You will be responsible for installing, upgrading, replacing, and maintaining RFID hardware and software to integrate RFID nodes into the local military commands' networks and ensure interoperability/sustainability.

Additional responsibilities include providing independent oversight and responsibility for RF-ITV read nodes within area of responsibility ensuring an Operational Readiness (OR) Rate of 95%, using various reporting/collaboration/communications tools, and responding to system outages and resolving problems within the time specified in Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you must possess a Bachelor's Degree with 12 years of applicable experience or a Master's Degree with 6-10 years of applicable experience. Additionally, you must have a current driver's license, own vehicle, and be able to drive continuously for up to four hours. You must also be able to climb a ladder or ascend at least 25 feet in a lift (bucket) truck.

Intermediate computer skills and knowledge of operating and troubleshooting hardware and software are also required. A DoD Directive 8570 Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II certification, such as CompTIA Security+ CE, is also mandatory.

Estimated Salary: $87,100 - $157,450 per year

**Location:** The remote position will be located in the greater Seattle, WA area, ideally within 50 miles of Joint Base Lewis-McChord, WA, with about 50% travel throughout the Northwest United States and Alaska.
