We are seeking a talented Designer II to join our team in Tacoma, WA. As a key member of our design engineering group, you will play a crucial role in developing innovative designs for our products.

About the Job

Job Responsibilities
  • Create detailed designs using 2D and 3D CAD software in accordance with drawing standards.
  • Develop engineering drawings that document design intent while working directly with engineers.
  • Produce location support drawings that provide build information to production.
  • Design sales support drawings that document product information for customer orders.
Requirements
  • An associate degree from an accredited course of study in drafting/technical or related field.
  • Practical knowledge of drafting standards (ASME Y14), dimensioning, drawing layout, and other areas common to creating mechanical drawings.
  • Certification from the American Design Drafting Association (ADDA).
  • 2-5 years' experience creating mechanical drawings.
  • Proficient in Solidworks 3D (Professional Level Certification) and AutoCAD 2D.
  • Fluent in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Acute attention to detail, organizational skills, proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Customer focus both internally and externally.
  • Strong communication skills in both written and verbal.
  • Self-starter and ability to work independently.
Estimated Salary Range

The estimated annual salary range for this position is $60,000 - $80,000, depending on education and experience.
